I initially sold the saw for resawing maple slabs from trees I had minimize down but have used it to chop near to the entire lot else as well since then.
When assembling the saw take the time (2-4 hours) to get the whole lot adjusted correctly and square. The saw will operate better and you're going to be much less pissed off in a while. I have no longer needed to make any adjustments due to the fact that I initially put the noticed together and I believe that is because of the period of time I took to do it right from the beginning. It continues to be square and operating as excellent because the day I sold it. The most effective difficulty I had with the noticed was about 2 weeks after I acquired it the lower viast bearing locking assembly failed. Customer provider was once great and I had a new section in a couple of days and have not had any considerations considering then.

Fit and end is a 10, and will pull an 1 1/4" 2-3 resaw blade. Should get an academy award, for the Least # of meeting parts.
Caveats .. she comes packed extraordinarily neatly, however, now not strapped to a standard sized pallet, so present strap or rope to steady to forklift ..

The niceer re-saw capacity and the general perfomance is like night and day. Thank you Rikon. It's an excellent product. I've by no means used a bandsaw that ran so easy and vibration free. The fence can additionally be top no longerch quality.
